Inspired by "No Place Like Home"

In No Place Like Home from Lee Shulman’s The Anonymous Project found slides from the 1950s are reimagined as poetic fragments of everyday life, family, and home. Just as Shulman brings the seemingly ordinary to light as part of collective memory, the selected works for the evening, center on the individual within their personal world.

Captivating, pulsating rhythms contrast with expansive melodic lines and deeply personal, moving moments. Together, the music opens up a sonic space for closeness, memory, and a sense of security and to make “home” a tangible feeling.
