Lipstick Workshop

Lauren Greenfield’s exhibition Social Studies, this interactive workshop explores the ways social media, viral beauty trends and constantly changing ideals shape how we see ourselves.

From beauty challenges to filters, tutorials and algorithm-driven beauty standards, our faces and bodies can quickly become something we compare, perfect and put on display.

In this workshop hosted by Pati Art Berlin, we turn this perspective around. Instead of changing ourselves to fit a beauty ideal, you create your own lipstick color – a shade that reflects your personality, mood and individual sense of beauty.

This workshop is a playful invitation to question who defines beauty – and to reclaim the freedom to define it for ourselves. Your lips. Your shade. Free from trends and algorithms.

ABOUT THE HOST

Pati Art Berlin is a creative project founded by Riga-born artist and creative Alise, based in Berlin. Through hands-on experiences such as lipstick-making workshops, she invites people to explore their creativity, experiment with color and connect through play. Her work is rooted in the belief that creativity is something everyone has within them.
