Black Moves

In this immersive video installation, the Paris- and Hong Kong-based visual artist delves into the immense power of nature in contrast to our fleeting existence.

About the exhibition

In this installation the artist expands on her fascination with the interplay between the natural world and digital technologies. Through multi-layered visuals interplaying with noise soundscapes, Black Moves features formless shapes, dark masses, and ever-shifting images powered by algorithms simulating forces found in nature. By creating spatial drama, Chan plunges the audience into the depths of her own psyche, unveiling something familiar yet alien though the work‘s transformative audiovisuality.
